Dr. Bree graduated from the University of Illinois with a BS in Biology. He earned his MD from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, where he was elected into membership of Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Bree then completed residency and fellowship training in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases with the Washington University School of Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis.
He completed an additional fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital in Houston, where he served as one of the Chief Interventional Cardiology fellows.
Dr. Bree is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology.
His area of expertise is coronary and peripheral arterial angioplasties and stenting procedures, including carotid artery stenting. He has authored numerous publications , and has spoken at national meetings.
This year Dr. Bree was elected by local Houstonians as a “Doctors’ Choice,” in Health & Fitness Sports Magazine. |
